Lumberton Historical Society Community Yard Sale will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Village Green Park on Main Street/Co. Rt. 541, from 7:30 am – 3:00 pm. Fee: $10 a space.  For more information call 609-267-4354.

 

Githens Center Annual Bike and Walk-a-Thon: Come join the fun on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 8am – rain or shine at the Bobby’s Run School.  Family Fun! Ride or Walk! Fall 2015 Lumberton Youth Recreational Soccer ~ Lumberton Youth Association (LYA) is pleased to announce outdoor recreational soccer for pre-K  to 6th grade (under 13) boys and girls for Fall 2015.  See LYA’s website http://www.lumbertonyouth.org/ for details, registration and fees.  Early Registration for Fall Rec Soccer opens on June 1st - June 30th.  A late registration fee will be assessed for those who register after June 30th but before July 31st.

Recreational & Travel Soccer, Soccer Clinics

The Lumberton Youth Association (LYA) is a private, non-profit volunteer based organization serving the community of Lumberton. The LYA provides an introduction to soccer for children 5 and under in a fun, recreational setting run by professional trainers and volunteer parents.  For older players (ages 6-12), a recreational soccer program led by volunteer coaches is available as well.  We also offer competitive travel soccer programs. All programs focus on age-appropriate soccer development and strive to emphasize sportsmanship, team play and individual growth through competition.
