Basketball Clinic Preseason
Ages: K - 5th grade

Weekly pre-season clinic sessions designed to develop and reinforce fundamental basketball skills. Clinics will run for 4 weeks at 60 minutes per session. This program is a great way to prepare for the regular basketball season.

Provides boys and girls with an environment where they can learn the fundamentals of the game and develop their skills – while still having fun.
Boys Basketball
K & 1st Grade:
Developmental clinic sessions.
2nd &3rd Grade:
Instructional league with modified rules.
4th &5th Grade:
Recreation league with modified rules designed to reinforce concept of team basketball.
6th - 8th Grade:
Recreation league operating under official High School rules while providing equal playing time for all players.
Girls Basketball
K & 1st:
Developmental clinic sessions.
2nd & 3rd Grade:
Instructional league with modified rules and equal playing time.
4th - 8th Grade:
Recreation league operating with modified rules and equal playing time. Grade separation will be based on participation.
Rec Select/Travel
Ages: 3rd - 7th grade
Dates: October - March
Location: LMS Gym
Fee: TBD
Registration Deadline: Tryouts will be in October, dates TBD
The Select Basketball program allows for more competitive play and is a travel program where children will play other towns. The girls will be representing Lumberton in the ICBL league. The boys will be representing Lumberton in the SJBL league.
We encourage all children that may be interested in this program to participate in the tryouts.
Adult Men's Basketball
Ages: 18 & Up
Dates: Tuesdays, November - March
Times: 7:00-9:00PM
Location: LMS Gym
Fee: $35.00
Registration Deadline: October 15th or until filled
Supervised pick up games.
