OUTDOOR SOCCER

New this year, our Outdoor Recreation Soccer program is being offered in partnership with Lumberton Youth Association (LYA), which is Lumberton's Travel Soccer Organization for both boys and girls. We look to build upon our existing program and offer improvements throughtout the program as well. This program is open to children who are entering K-8th grades in the 2010-2011 school year.

Practice for all age groups except Kindergarten will begin in Early August. Games will start the weekend after Labor Day. For all age groups except Kindergarten, games are played Friday night and Saturday morning. Kindergarten will practice/scrimmage Saturday mornings 8:30 - 9:45am.

INDOOR SOCCER

Ages: K - 8th grades

This program is open to children currently in K-8th grades. Games are played on Friday evenings (Kindergarten only) and Saturday mornings.

PRE-SCHOOL OUTDOOR SOCCER

This 6 week program is a great way to introduce soccer to 3 – 5 year old boys and girls. They will learn the fundamentals of soccer through a program of structured activities and fun games. This program is fun based & developmental. The emphasis is on FUN, FUN and FUN!

NEW - ADULT OUTDOOR SOCCER

Lumberton Recreation will build off the success of the Women's indoor soccer program with an eight week outdoor adult soccer program. Games will be held every Wednesday starting August 4th from 8:00pm - 10:00pm. Games will be played in a relaxed format on a short field using small goals. There will be a separate men's program and a separate women's program. The program will be run in a "pic-up" format with no formalized teams. Teams will be picked on the spot at the start of every session.
